Puthupally Raghavan

Puthupally Raghavan has been freedom fighter, a communist leader, an author, a historian, translator and almost a reference point for writers, orators and researchers. Participating in the freedon movement at the age of 17, he has to undergo imprisonment for more than ten years. Puthupally Raghavan has written about the atrocities unleashed by the police and the goonda gang of the landloards in an area called Sooranadu in Kollam district following a revolt of peasants and agricultural labours there. It was originally published in Malayalam in the year 1979.
